Local AI / Build · Set up · Use
Building a local AI workstation is the beginning. The interesting part is making it useful.

Meet Monster
Monster is my local AI workstation. My work with it spans the physical build, software setup, local models, and the workflows that connect them.
I’m interested in what one person can create with that combination: software, images, audio, and the tools that support a larger creative project.
The goal is useful, repeatable work. That means paying attention to quality, checking the output, and understanding when a local model needs help from a cloud model.
Component selection, assembly, power, cooling, and the practical decisions involved in putting a workstation together.
Model runtimes, creative tools, storage, and the connections that let the hardware support a working software environment.
Putting models to work, inspecting the results, and improving the process. Local and cloud tools each have a role.
The next layer
I’m working on better ways to coordinate tasks, review outputs, recover from interruptions, and keep useful work moving. The system needs to make its limits and failures visible.
That connects to the same questions behind stele and my other AI systems: how do you check the work, carry what you learn into the next attempt, and keep human judgment where it matters?
